Home Additions
in Southlake, TX

Some homes are almost perfect. The neighborhood is right, the schools are right, the memories are right. What's missing is space.

An Addition Designed Around Your Needs

Every addition we build starts with one question: what does your home need to work for your family? Whether you’ve outgrown your space, need a place for the people you love, or want a room that’s truly yours, we’ve built it before, and we’ll build it for you.

"We love this home. We've just run out of room."

The neighborhood is where you want to be. The kids are in the right schools. You’ve built something here, and moving would mean leaving it all behind. But the house wasn’t designed for the life you’re living now, and every room is doing two jobs it wasn’t meant to do.

Moving is one option. Adding onto your home is a better option.

Designed Around Your Life, Not Just Your Floor Plan

We start by understanding exactly what isn’t working. Then we design the most functional, beautiful space we can add to your home — one that solves the problem and adds real value to your property. We partner with you and the design team to ensure the addition works for your life today and adapts as your needs change.

Built to Look Like It Was Always There

The hardest part of a home addition isn’t building it. It’s making it look like it belongs. We take care of the roof transition, match exterior materials, and design the interior flow so the new space connects naturally to the existing home. When it’s done, it looks original.

A Kitchen Addition That Changed Everything

In Flower Mound, TX, a homeowner’s traditionally designed home felt closed off and disconnected from the way they lived. Over two phases and two years, we opened the floor plan, added a full prep kitchen alongside the main kitchen, extended the outdoor kitchen, and enclosed an outdoor space to create an indoor gameroom.

A glass extension to the family room created a new dining area with panoramic views of Grapevine Lake. The home went from traditional and compartmentalized to completely reimagined.

"We need a space for the people we love most."

Mom isn’t as independent as she used to be, but a nursing facility doesn’t feel right. Or you have family who visits for weeks at a time and there’s simply no comfortable, private space for them. The people you love most deserve more than a pull-out couch.

There’s a way to keep your family close without giving up your home.

A Space That Feels Like Its Own Home

We design in-law suites and guest retreats with a separate entrance, full kitchen, private bedroom, and a bathroom designed with ADA compliance and aging in place in mind. Wide doorways, step-free entry, and thoughtful layouts mean the space works right now and keeps working as needs change.

Privacy for Everyone, Connection When You Want It

The addition feels like its own home while remaining part of yours. Your family member keeps their independence and dignity. You keep your home. And moving between the two spaces is as easy as opening a door.

A 1,700 Square Foot Retreat Built for Independent Living

In Flower Mound, TX, a family needed a space where their mother could maintain her independence after moving from a much larger home. We designed a 1,700 sq ft apartment attached to the side of the home with its own front door, a full kitchen with an island open to the family room, a separate formal dining room, and a spacious ADA-compliant bathroom.

The finishes matched her previous lifestyle. She can entertain friends without ever going through the main house, and the family connection is just a door away.

"Our home doesn't have a space for the way we actually live."

You’re working from home at the kitchen table. The workout equipment is in the garage. The wine collection is in a closet. The art supplies are stacked in a corner. You’ve made it work, but none of it actually works. The space you need to focus, to move, to create — it just doesn’t exist in your home yet.

Your home should have room for everything that matters to you.

A Home Office That Actually Works

Working from home deserves better than a corner of the bedroom. We build dedicated home offices with the right lighting, sound dampening, built-in storage, and a layout designed around how you actually work. When your office feels professional, so does everything you do in it.

Space for the Things You Love

A home gym. A wine cellar. An art studio. A craft room. Whatever your passion, we design the space around how you’ll use it — the right flooring, lighting, storage, and environment to make it feel like it was built for that purpose. Because it was

When One Isn't Enough

We’ve built dedicated spaces for the same family across three different properties. When someone finds a contractor they trust with a project this personal, they don’t go looking for another one.

Build

Your dedicated project manager is on-site every single day. Our trade partners, many of whom have been with us for over a decade, build to the plan with daily quality oversight. When challenges come up (and in remodeling, they do), we bring you a solution, not a problem.

Final Walkthrough

As your project wraps up, we walk through the home together and build a finish list to make sure every last detail is addressed. Within 30 days of completion, we come back to take care of anything that’s come up since you’ve settled in. We close out with a professional cleaning and power washing of exterior areas, and we stay in contact long after the job is done.

Answers to Your Home Addition Questions

How long does a home addition take?

Every addition is different, but most projects run between 5 months and 2 years from design to completion, depending on the size and complexity of the scope.

A focused in-law suite or dedicated space typically runs around 5 months. A larger, multi-phase whole home transformation can take considerably longer. We’ll give you a detailed timeline during your consultation.

In most cases, yes. We seal off the work area, protect your home throughout the process, and manage the site to minimize disruption to your daily life. We’ll walk you through exactly what to expect before we start.

This is one of the most important things we do. We handle the roof transition, match exterior materials, and design the interior flow so the new space connects naturally to the existing home. When it’s done, it doesn’t look added on. It looks like it was always there.

We handle the design process from the start. Your project lead works with you to develop a detailed rough design before we bring in an architect to finalize the plans. You get the benefit of our experience on thousands of homes before a single formal plan is drawn.

Yes. We offer a 1-year warranty on materials and labour. And if something comes up after that, we go above and beyond to make it right. That’s just how we do business.
