From Friday Night Frustrations to the Entertainer's Dream Home
This family had the lifestyle, the guest list, and the vision for how they wanted their home to feel. What they were missing was a space that could actually deliver on it, from a kitchen built for real cooking to an outdoor living area that could stand up to a Colleyville summer and still be the place everyone wanted to stay.

Working alongside a designer who provided a full selection booklet and drawings, Stately Design & Renovation crafted a plan that tied every space together, from the two-story entry all the way through to the outdoor kitchen. The goal was seamless flow: between the kitchen and the family room, and between the indoors and out. Every detail, from finish selections to spatial planning, was resolved before a single wall moved.
The reimagined kitchen features double islands, built-in refrigerator and freezer columns, a wine cooler, a gourmet range, and a coffered ceiling in the adjacent family room, giving this family the chef-quality entertaining hub they had always needed.
A relocated exterior wall and new large multi-slide doors in the family room now open directly to the rebuilt outdoor living space, making the transition from inside to outside feel completely natural, whether it's a casual family evening or a full dinner party.
The outdoor living area was rebuilt from the ground up with a custom outdoor kitchen, motorized screens, and a dedicated mini-split air conditioner, so this family can host comfortably even in the thick of a Texas summer.
The unused space beneath the staircase was transformed into a custom wine room, turning one of the home's most overlooked corners into one of its most talked-about features.
Painted raised paneling was added throughout the two-story entry, bringing an elegant, finished look to the first impression of the home.
A generously sized shower and a long vanity were added to the main bath, creating a spa-like retreat.
New cabinetry replaced standard shelving and rods, giving the closet organization and a polished, built-in feel.
A dedicated dog yard with its own access door was added to the property, keeping four-legged family members happy and the home's main spaces clean.
A generator was added to the home for peace of mind, keeping the family comfortable no matter what Texas weather brings.
Both spaces were refreshed as part of the full first-floor remodel, completing the cohesive transformation throughout the home.
Every great gathering starts with a home designed for it, and we’d love to help you create yours.
